FROM THE DESK OF OUR TEAM PRESIDENT, JASON LAWRENCE FROM THE DESK OF OUR TEAM PRESIDENT, JASON LAWRENCE

November 21, 2011

Dear Stingrays friends,

SWFL’s Hometown Team will play football in 2012, just not EXACTLY as originally planned.

Due to the collapse of the Southern Indoor Football League and the lack of quality indoor alternatives, The Florida Stingrays have decided to move our team outdoors to play traditional 11 on 11 football this season.

We would like to apologize to those fans who had their hearts set on our team playing indoor football, but we promise that our move outdoors will not adversely affect our organization’s focus on giving back to the Southwest Florida community.

We are going to continue with the plan to sell stock shares of the team to the local community although the price has been dropped to ONLY $25 per share which will include a season ticket.

Along with our  “ Free Youth Football Camps”,  “Sponsor A Future Stingray” and “Cleats 4 Athletes” kids programs, we will soon be launching some new innovative ways to have an even greater impact on the community.  We are going to help local athletes who, for whatever reason, will not be given the opportunity to play in college by working with local businesses and clubs like the Elks, Moose, Kiwanis, etc. to sponsor scholarships for our players to attend local colleges, universities, and even trade and technical schools.

Please follow our Facebook page and official team website for all updated team developments.

The Stingrays are ready to go and we thank you for your support.

Yours in success,

Jay Lawrence
